Adwords Review Extensions Now Out Of Beta
Back in June, Google announced the beta release of Adwords review extensions which enable Adwords users to embed reviews into their ads.
I missed the closing date for the beta program by a week so I’ve not tried them out myself yet, however I will be over the next few weeks.
Well the other day Google announced that Adwords Review Extensions are coming out of beta and will be available for everyone within a week or so.
Like any of the extensions they are aimed at increasing your CTR’s which is always a good thing because CTR’s are such a big part of your Quality Score (QS) and as you probably know the higher your QS, the lower your cost per click (CPC).
Some of their beta testers have seen increases in CTRs by up to 10%.
Furthermore this is also another reason why Reputation Marketing is so important to your business today.
In Nielsen’s recent report “Global Trust In Advertising And Brand Messages” September 2013, they state that 68% of people trust online reviews. This is 3rd behind ‘Branded websites’ and ‘Recommendations from people I know’.
So being able to include them in your Adwords ad copy is a very cool feature indeed.
If you want to find out how to apply them to your ads see Google’s announcement here.
