THE CHALLENGE
Leo contacted Expose Profits after seeing one of our ads online and reading through our case studies. At the time, they were working with an agency who was managing their Google Ads, but they were not getting the results they wanted. So, we got access to their ad account and completed a Google Ads Audit for them.
Very quickly we discovered issues with how their campaign was set up, the ad group structure, the target keywords and their ads were very poorly written.
The clicks from their ads were also being sent direct to their home page, which is this case, (and most cases) is not recommended if you want to generate the most leads from your ads.
At the time of our Audit, their past 30 days Google Ads stats were: £514 ad spend, 13 leads, 2.9% conversion rate and £39.57 cost/conversion.
THE SOLUTION
Their campaigns were set up that badly, we decided the best route forward would be to create completely new campaigns.
We used our knowledge of the uPVC spraying market to target the keywords that were most likely to generate conversions. We structured the ad groups according to the intent of the keywords and used a manual bidding strategy until we had enough conversions to test out Google’s Max Conversions.
Furthermore, we also added our list of negative keywords for this market, which we’ve compiled through many years experience in managing Google Ads campaigns for uPVC spraying.
We then wrote new ads and designed a landing page, based on a design we know converts well in this industry. This included a multistep lead form.
We also set them up in our; Lead Manager, Click Fraud Detection System and Review Management System.
From us getting the go-ahead to start the work, we had the new campaigns live within seven days.
THE RESULTS
Before we started working on Xpray Solution’s Google Ads account, their stats for the previous 30 days were: £514 ad spend, 13 leads, 2.9% conversion rate and £39.57 cost/conversion.
In the past 90 days, we have generated 144 leads, from £2,531 ad spend, giving a cost per lead of £17.58 and a conversion rate of 16.36%.
We are currently awaiting the final figures for revenue generated, but we are aware it’s in the tens of thousands.

The first few months of new campaigns are usually spent getting a feel for the market and getting the data in so we can adjust and optimise the campaigns.
However, because of our experience running Google Ads for uPVC and Kitchen Sprayers, we were able to get Xpray Solution fast results.
Over the coming months, we will continue to test out new ideas for their landing pages, tweak keywords and test new ads to generate even more leads, so Leo and his Dad can expand and grow their business further.
